 City Council to Host Six Neighborhood Meetings

 Members of the Rock Hill City Council will each host a neighborhood meeting in their ward throughout the upcoming weeks. City staff will present topics to include Public Works Projects, Utility Rates, Recruitment and Employment, Police Initiatives and Housing & Neighborhood Services Support. The Council person representing that particular ward will welcome attendees and Mayor Doug Echols will provide closing comments.

Meetings will be held as follows:

Ward 1—Sandra Oborokumo
Thursday, August 17 at 6:30 PM
Boyd Hill Recreation Center Gym, 1165 Constitution Boulevard

Ward 2—Kathy Pender
Thursday, August 24 at 6:30 PM
Cherry Park Enclosed Shelter, 1466 Cherry Road

Ward 3—Kevin Sutton
Tuesday, September 19 at 6:30 PM
City of Rock Hill Operations Center Room 132, 757 S. Anderson Road

Ward 4 –John Black
Thursday, September 14 at 6:30 PM
Rock Hill-York County Airport Conference Room, 550 Airport Road

Ward 5—Ann Williamson
Tuesday, August 15 at 6:30 PM
Flint Hill Baptist Church, 1214 Flint Hill Street

Ward 6 –Jim Reno
Tuesday, September 12 at 6:30 PM
Fewell Park, 1204 Alexander Road

 The public may attend any session they choose, and are not limited to the meeting specific to their voting district.  Covered topics will be similar at all meetings, however City Council representatives in attendance will vary.
