Single-Family Detached Residential Properties

To connect City water and/or sewer to a home or property inside the City limits, a water line and/or sewer line must be accessible to your home.  Accessible means the line is located along the street in front of your property. If you have a corner lot, the line may be located along the side of your property. To hook up to water and sewer for new construction, dry wells or septic system failures, please contact Kathy Paterniti for questions about availability and cost.

To connect City water and/or sewer to a home or property that is located outside of the City limits, please refer to the City's Utility Service Policy. The property owner is required to sign a Water and/or Sewer Service Agreement. The City provides water and/or sewer service to properties outside of the City limits at its discretion.  In exchange for water and/or sewer service, the property owner agrees to annex the property when it becomes contiguous to the City limits and the City decides it is the appropriate time to annex. Please see the Annexation page for more information. Any new construction on the property is also required to meet the City's Design Standards
