The City Of Rock Hill enforces state adopted building codes as well as a zoning ordinance and other municipal ordinances. These codes and ordinances require a permit to construct, enlarge, repair, move, demolish or change the occupancy of any building or structure. A permit is also required to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system. Please select the type of work you plan to do from the list below. Please contact the Permit Application Center at 803-329-5590 if you have any questions about permits or inspections. You can also view our brochure "Do I Need a Building Permit?" for more information.
