The City of Rock Hill will present regular updates to the public on funds it receives through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The categories in which the city will seek funding are Public Safety, Housing, Community Development and Transportation. Where the funds are allocated to the Rock Hill Fort Mill Area Transit Study (RFATS), they will be broken out as a separate entity in the report, as the City may receive portions of funding for City projects and the York County or another local municipality may receive the rest. A Rock Hill-specific, non-RFATS related transportation allocation will be listed with City funds received.

The City has applied for, and received confirmation of funds to be allocated, for the following projects:
