Seasonal Leaf Collection Tips

• Leaves and brush will be collected on a two week alternating schedule from November through January.
• Monday & Tuesday collection routes will begin on November 2nd and leaves will be picked up every other week.
• Wednesday & Thursday collection routes will begin on November 9th and leaves will be picked up every other week.
• Leaves should be raked along the curb (not bagged) and kept separate from brush piles.
• Leaves can be placed into YardCarts for collection year round.
• Keep leaves and brush piles away from obstacles including mailboxes, water meters, and hydrants.
• Do not blow leaves into storm drains. Penalties with fines up to $1000 will be enforced.
• Blocking traffic lanes or creating line-of-sight hazards for motorists can result in liabilities to the homeowner.
• There will be NO leaf collection for the weeks of December 28th and January 4th.
• All collected yard waste is recycled at the City's facility on 650 Friedheim Rd where it is chipped into mulch and available for pick up, free of charge to residents of Rock Hill every Friday 7:30 am - 2:00 pm (except on holidays).

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

Thanksgiving
Thursday sanitation customers will be collected on Friday, November 27.

Christmas
No change to sanitation collection schedule.

New Year’s
No change to sanitation collection schedule.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
No change to sanitation collection schedule
