Notice of Hearing: Consideration of Utility Standards Required by Law

City of Rock Hill Consideration of Certain Utility Standards As Required by the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the Independence and Security Act of 2007

Please take notice that the City of Rock Hill will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 155 Johnston Street.  The purpose of this public hearing is: (i) to discuss and consider alternative fuel source and  fossil fuel generation standards in accordance with the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (APURPA@) and the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and (ii) to discuss and consider integrated resource planning; rate design modifications to promote energy efficiency investments; smart grid investments; smart grid information; and additional incentives for recovery, use and prevention of industrial waste energy standards in accordance with PURPA and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
