Organization
Our department has three divisions Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Administrative Services provides support to all areas. Mark Sexton is the Director of the department.
Parks Division
The Parks Division includes Sports Complexes, Glencairn Garden, Fountain Park, Trails & Greenways, Playgrounds, Park Maintenance, General Maintenance, Special Events Support, Construction Projects, Contractual Maintenance Services and Streetscapes.

Recreation Division
Recreation Division encompasses Programs for Persons with Disabilities, Senior Adult Programs, Cultural Arts & Special Events, Youth Council, Youth Service League, Aquatics, Boyd Hill Recreation Center, Emmett Scott Recreation Center, Fewell Park Recreation Center, Northside Recreation Center, REC in a Box, Outdoor Athletics and Concessions, Cycling Programs, Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Education.

Tourism Division
Tourism Division consists of Tourism, Sports Tournaments, and Special Events. The Rock Hill Sports & Event Center is an enterprise that manages all aspects of the facility: Tourism & Special Events, Concessions, Indoor Athletics, Hospitality Services and Facility Maintenance.
