The Rock Hill Velodrome is a 250m concrete oval track with 42.5 degree embankments in the corners and a 17 degree embankment on the front and back straights. The facility is owned, operated and maintained by the City of Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. 

Track Rentals

Cost: $65/hour; $240/half day (4 hours); or $440/full day (8 hours)

You can rent the Velodrome for cycling and/or non-cycling events. Please contact us to discuss your event. All riders must be certified to ride the track for cycling-related events. Insurance and licenses may be required depending on the event.

Conference Room Rental

Cost: $100/hour or $500/full day (8 hours)

Spectators and Pets

Admission to all events at the Rock Hill Velodrome are free. A concession stand is not on site, but food trucks may be available during some races and events. Due to limited space and safety concerns, only riders, staff, officials, and volunteers are allowed in the infield.

Pets must be tightly controlled on a three-foot leash; they are not permitted in the infield. Owners are asked to clean any waste left by their pets. Owners will be asked to remove their pet if staff determine that a pet is creating problems or unsafe conditions at the velodrome.

Photography

You can take photos and videos from the stands and anywhere outside the rails of the Velodrome. For the safety of the riders, do not lean over the rail or hold anything over the rail.
Only photographers/videographers with prior notice and a current City of Rock Hill photography permit may gain entry to the infield. While in the infield, they must follow direction given by staff. We reserve the right to make decisions on photography on an event-by-event basis.
