The Registration of Residential Units ordinance helps ensure all rental housing in the City of Rock Hill is safe and meets basic housing maintenance requirements.

Each rental property must be registered by December 31.

Beginning February 1, 2023 properties will be subject to an inspection upon receipt of the completed self-inspection checklist. This is required for each vacant rental unit before it can be occupied.
