USA BMX Open House

One-time free session for bicyclists who want to see what riding a BMX track is like.

Enjoyed the Race? Try it for FREE!
Can’t get enough of the heart-pumping action of the USA BMX racing? Give your own wheels a spin at a FREE open house, where first-timers can borrow a loaner BMX bike and helmet (or bring your own) and get a taste of what BMX riding is all about. The events are open to anyone who isn’t already a member of USA BMX.

Riders must have covered elbows and knees with either long shirt/pants or elbow pads & knee pads and must wear a full face helmet.  If you don't have the required full-face helmet, one will be provided to your rider. BMX race bikes are available for children to try the track.  If the parents wish to bring the child's bike, note that the City of Rock Hill does not allow kick stands, reflectors, chain guards, freestyle pegs or other plastic attachments that present a hazard on bicycles ridden on the Rock Hill BMX Supercross track.  Please remove them if you want to use your own bicycle.  All available BMX bikes are freewheel models (hand brake only).

This session is not a prerequisite for those who wish to ride the BMX Race Track. It is just a first timer's introductory session to help those who are interested.

This session is not a program to teach children how to ride a bike.
